Job description

PPLE student ambassadors are the faces of PPLE on many occasions. They represent PPLE at open days, fairs, school visits, webinars and information events. To this end, they are trained in giving presentations and answering questions, and are well informed of PPLE's unique selling points and application procedure. They are also expected to talk about student life and (up to a certain extent) their personal experiences. Advanced PPLE students will be giving Student for a Day tutorials to prospective students.

PPLE webinar

From October to March, there is at least one PPLE information evening and at least one Student for a Day session per month. Student ambassadors can also be sent to schools and fairs across the Netherlands. Twice a year, PPLE organizes a webinar for prospective or upcoming students with one student ambassador answering questions in front of the camera.

The student ambassadors work in close collaboration with the Head of Admissions who coordinates the team.

Candidates should be current PPLE students with excellent communication skills. We are looking for students who will

  • take part in the training sessions in September/October 2018,
  • cheerfully share their PPLE experiences with prospective students,
  • display responsible autonomy when representing PPLE,
  • always attend student ambassador meetings,
  • take part in at least 4 PPLE information evenings or Student for a Day sessions,
  • take part in at least 2 school visits,
  • attend the UvA Bachelor's Days on Saturday, 10 November 2018 and on Saturday, 9 March 2019.

Advanced students will also be in charge of workshops during Student for a Day sessions.
