"Hi, my name is Tomer and I joined PPLE in 2021 as an Economics tutor. Since then, I’ve also taken on the roles of Economics Track Coordinator and Major Mentor for Economics. It didn’t take me long to realise that I had come across something very special when I started working at PPLE. When asked about what makes PPLE special, many might speak of the interdisciplinary approach of the programme, the international student body, or they might even sprinkle in the words 'small,' 'scale,' and 'intensive.' While all those things carry incredible value and are part of what makes PPLE special, to me, it is all about the people—the students and staff—that bring the letters to life. Their energy fuels my passion and keeps me coming back.

When I am away from PPLE, I work on an online education business I started a few years ago. My academic journey includes a bachelor's in economics and finance from UvA, an exchange semester in Singapore (a must if you have the opportunity to go), followed by a master's from UvA as well.

From a less 'academic' perspective, I am passionate about psychology and philosophy. I find studying human behaviour incredibly interesting and endlessly fascinating. I very much enjoy integrating practical life lessons and skills into my classes and having fun along the way."
