Our entry requirements guide the assessment of your qualifications and readiness to thrive at PPLE College. To apply, all applicants must demonstrate that they meet or are expected to meet the entry requirements.
  • 1. Sufficient diploma level

You are eligible to apply if you meet one of the following criteria:

    • You hold a diploma from Dutch university preparatory education (VWO), combined with mathematics A or B (final grade 6.0 or higher) and English.
    • Your secondary school diploma is equivalent to the Dutch VWO diploma, with mathematics (and English for non-native speakers) included in the final examination.
  • 2. Grade point average

Your GPA offers a perspective into your prior educational accomplishments. To calculate your GPA the PPLE Admissions Office will look at the final grades on your diploma. If you have not yet graduated at the time of application, your most recently achieved grades will be used when calculating your GPA. Please note that physical education and fine arts courses are not included in GPA calculations.

Due to the highly competitive nature of the PPLE admissions process, applicants with higher GPAs will be given preference in the selection procedure.

  • 3. Mathematics requirements

Several PPLE courses require advanced math skills. Therefore, all applicants must demonstrate their math proficiency to be considered for admission to PPLE College. You can meet our math requirement through either your diploma or through a math proficiency exam.

Please note that results must have been obtained in May 2022 or later to be used for admission to the September 2024 intake of PPLE College.

  • 4. English language proficiency

English is the language of instruction and interaction in our academic community. Therefore, proficiency in academic English is essential for success in the PPLE programme. All applicants must demonstrate their English proficiency to be considered for admission. You can meet our English requirement through either your diploma or through an English proficiency exam.

Please note that results must have been obtained in May 2022 or later to be used for admission to the September 2024 intake of PPLE College.
